question, when installing the RPG stage 4+, is it necessary to go to top or mid perch?

The + implies 3.0's (or Kings) on the front - which no longer have 3 perch settings to choose from (see Bo's post above). Instead, the 3.0's are threaded for a full range of adjustability - including an equivalent to the top perch setting. After they are installed the front 3.0's need time to "settle" which mine have done. I now plan to run them up just short of top perch - where I stop is to be determined by the maximum height that will still minimize stress on the cv joints

Well, I must have a more sensitive ass than all you, but I noticed a difference in ride from bottom to middle. Not much, but it's definitely different.

But then again, my ass hasn't been pounded as often as all ya'lls, so it's still touchy. :lol2:

Thanks. I'm totally new to trucks/off-roading and have no clue about this sort of stuff. Thank God for this forum:cheers:

I'm wondering about the percentages: What percent of FRFers have left their trucks at the bottom perch, have modified to the middle perch, or have modified to the top perch? Would this be worthy of a quick, one-question survey?
