The 2024 models have air jacks built into the frame of the truck, a periscope, rotary saws...

If you want the latest and greatest it will always cost you time and money. Those of us who waited for the 6.2, waited extra time and paid more money; autos and trucks are no different. Don't get me wrong I'd love to have a 2011 Raptor, but probably not as much as a 2012 or 2013 or...

Tim already had saws or lasers (I can't remember which) installed on his Raptor back before the Mojave Road trip earlier this year. They worked well for him but did some damage to some of the vehicles in front of him when they got too close.

It is an alarm that goes of if the "perimeter" of the vehicle is breached. If you open up any door or hood it goes off, if break a window it goes off...

Essentially it is a normal alarm along with some motion detectors to sense if the inside of the car has been violated without a door being opened. In some applications that would include the alarm going off if someone climbed in through a window you had left open... not sure o the ford system.

If it's the same as the stock Ford alarm in my 2010 GT500 it's great.

I had the alarm armed and stuck my hand in an open window and the alarm went off.

There are sensors (in the GT500) on the top of the headliner where the cabin lamps are.

Very trick system for stock.
