I mean, really, I'm a patient man, but who the heck has time to read 11 pages of this crap. It's exactly like the thread that just got locked by combat GI Joe.

And I'm not sure where the OP is looking, but a Tesla order that says estimated delivery December is no guarantee. I looked into getting my wife one a couple of weeks ago and they were out to March and May. A bit suspicious that the date has just been moved up months. Be sure to come back here when you are still waiting and fed up.

See ya in Moab with your Tesla. I'll tow you out.

So after waiting for almost 6 months and dealing with absolutely zero communication and constant phantom timeline shifts, I've had enough!

I've owned 7 Ford trucks/SUVs and always felt a bit like a fan boy, however, this experience is just totally unexceptable. I can continue to make excuses like COVID delays, global chip shortages, and the scale/scope of Ford's distribution model. However, the reality is, I put down a deposit in June and committed to paying $80k+ for a truck that Ford can't/won't deliver.

I've been as patient as I can be, but the hard reality is, I don't want to take delivery of a truck that is a model year old the day I drive it off the lot. I don't want to deal with a company that CHOOSES to keep it's customers in the dark on order status and impact of production delays. I also have serious concerns for a company that continues to embrace an outdated dealer centric order/distribution model that fails to do what it was designed to do, protect and put the customer first! Crazy ADMs, orders with no allocation, canceled orders with no explanation, and yet Ford refuses to take accountability or hold their dealers accountable.

I'm canceling my order and purchasing a Tesla, who at least seems to have figured out how to meet customer demand, continue driving innovation, and disrupt the broken legacy car purchasing model. For those interested, I placed an order today for a new Model 3 Performance with an estimated delivery date in 3-6 WEEKS.

I wish all of you the best, the Raptor is an amazing truck and I really wish this would have worked out. I've just lost all conference/trust in the company that produces it.
Dude

Tesla is a POS. Ford just announced their 21MY supercharger for the 5.0L. It costs like 8k total for parts & install at A FORD DEALER with 3 year warranty.

Go buy a 5.0 liter, get it to 700 hp with 3 year warranty from dealer. stay away from tesla, are you kidding me?

What's a few laps? LOL you are brain washed my friend watching fake news. Went 20 hot laps at apex so if that's a few laps, sure.
Brain washed? Ironic considering you’re the one going off about how great you think a POS Tesla is on a Raptor forum.

Teslas cannot do more than a few laps at full power; they’re not good track cars.

Battery cells are still in their infancy. We will look back in 10-years and laugh at the low amount of range and humongous size of todays battery packs. The upcoming Tesla 4680 "beer can" battery cell will be an improvement but it's not the holy grail.

Apples & Oranges…

Absolutely ZERO discussion…sounds like an impatient, I want and must have NOW purchase decision as you are comparing two completely different types of vehicles, functionality, etc. Nice rant with no meaning or substance.

SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES EXIST ACROSS ANY & ALL SECTORS…LAST YEAR, LAST MONTH, TODAY AND TOMORROW!

Irrelevant much? Complacent, stagnant, stumped and eventually unemployed.

Keep wrenchin my dude.

My lap times around the south west say otherwise with my "not good track cars". LOL. How long has Tesla been around? Light ******* years in advancement compared to anyone. And now every single manufacturer is copying and trying to keep up.

Innovate or die. Nothing can ever stay status quo to be relevant or in business anymore. Toyota is nailing their coffin.
