Hello all,
I know catch cans work, but only personally installed them on previous rides with blowers do to the increased pressure. No question they work, but I never figured it was really needed on an N/A engine.
I was wrong. I do not buy into hype and am only a believer when I see something work first hand. In the case of the JLT catch can, I relied on Greg @Squatting Dog and his write-up on this topic as I know he drives his truck hard and if he said it was a good product, I was willing to give it a shot.
I installed the JLT the day before going to Havoc in the Hills. 1,500 miles round trip and lots of hard driving offroad as well as plenty of WOT. I removed this morning after getting home last night, 4 days later.
I wish I did this two years ago!!!
Comments:
1) Super easy install. Literally took 2 minutes. Solid construction.
2) It stayed in place, never moved during the trip...and Havoc is rough!
3) Proven Results! I pulled a good two tablespoons just from this event.
Thank you Greg for the write-up and JLT for a great product!!
Everything still in place;
Can removal;
Oil removal;
