Does the Technology package crap mess with your radar detectors? I run a Max360 and the Cadillac system gives it fits when I run up behind one. I originally ordered mine without the package, but now the dealer has one available ready to roll with the pkg. I just don't want to take a chance on my 360 being inoperable.

Thanks guys

I use my detector on my raptor but occasionally a macan and a few other cars. The macan has this tech stuff which ordinarily sets off the detector but when located inside works just fine not a peep.

I have the tech package and an ****** 9500ix. Went on a 1000 mile trip this weekend and no issues to report.

Awesome. That makes me feel much better. Do you see the issues with the new Cadillac cars also? I can run up behind them and it starts hitting either X or K band... can't remember which.

The tech package on your truck will not interfere with your radar detector. The radar sensors are on the outside of the truck not pointed at the radar detector. Other vehicles can set it off since many use K band radar. GM vehicles are some of the worst offenders.

Just installed Max 360 with mirror tap with blend mount with tech pack and no issues so far with lane keep assist, adaptive cruise engaged.

On a side note if anyone is trying to install a mirror tap/blend mount with the tech pack the top piece of plastic that goes into the headliner there are two metal clips that hold it into place. Just use a small trim tool(plastic) and pop one side and just pull straight down from the headliner area and remove. The big piece of plastic that flushes up to the windshield will stay in place. There are two plugs, a white one(drivers side) and a black(passenger side). The white plug is the one you are going to want to tap into. The white plug has a black wire in the top of the clip, this is where you want to tie your negative(black) on your mirror tap. Under that, third wire down/bottom yellow wire, is where you want to tie your positive/red wire on mirror tap. This will allow power to the radar detector in auxiliary mode or when the truck I see started. It will not turn off with auto start/stop but will power radar detector off only when you hit start/stop button to turn motor off/auxiliary off. Don't forget to test once you tap into back of white plug but make sure you plug it back in first. Hope this helps!

Damn. Thats a big list. Unfortunately the majority of the local sheriff's around me still use X and K band. Good to know my truck won't make it go haywire though. Thanks for the info.
