So figure it is time to update this thread.
With the Baja 1000 coming up, I had a lot of minor stuff to do. Mounting my Floor Jack, putting down strap mounts for my spare tire, pit box and cooler, as well as mounting and wiring up my new Rugged Radios 100W VHF unit.

Took the truck to baja, logged around 600 miles total and couldn't be happier! Truck drives like a dream. Didnt get a ton of dirt miles. On to the pics, because who reads anymore... lol

How are those Alpine speakers compared to the stock Sony's? Which model #'s are they? Was the install difficult?

Alpine type S. I did some research and they kept ranking Top 3-5 for 5x7 Speakers including when compared to separated so I pulled the trigger. They sound great, nice mid voice....a little better mid bass. Treble is crisp, but a little string if you keep the a pillar tweeters running as well.

Where did you get the cover for the jack or does it come with the jack? I looked on SDHQ and Pro eagle and did not find it.

These trucks look great in Race red wish it was available when I bought my 2011. Love the Bronco hope you keep it.
