the truck really comes alive at 2500 3500 rpm do you have a 5 stare I'm still waiting for brake in and then putting it all on AFE SW 5 stare I've noticed if you don't hit the up shift in manual at 4800 or before it takes to long to shift before revving out I would like it more responsive.

anybody have a good cost estimate (total trip excluding gas cost) so us bottom feeders can prepare for the next run? thanks for any info and glad to hear you folks had fun :)

Excluding gas, you could have had a riot this weekend for $110 + food. With the food trailer out there and Trey's BBQ Dinner for $10 it's no more expensive than what you'd eat at home. You could also bring your own of course.

Cost is no reason for someone to miss this event. If you didn't drive your truck on the track could have gotten by on $10. I can guarantee you'd find someone who'd be happy to let you ride along with them in no time.

Don't forget to include the gear. I think I remember seeing that helmet and fire extinguisher were both required. Nevertheless, I really wanna go next time. I don't think i could camp out tho. I'm not caveman like some of you guys... Lol kidding.

Good point on the gear. Maybe another $50-$100 to grab a helmet, fire extinguisher, and tow strap if you dont't have them. Obviously you could spend more, but that will get you by.

Think the registration fee to run was $100? To spectate it's free I believe.

Gate fee was $10 a person. That would be what it costs to spectate.

Everything below is optional:

Track fee(registration) was $100. Only required if you're taking the truck out on the track.

BBQ dinner $10.
Burgers, Hot Dogs, etc at the trailer all less than $5 I believe.

Raffle tickets $20.
Extra stickers $2, Shirt $15?

Again, the value here is incredible. You will not be disappointed.
