All - new to the forum and a first time Raptor owner. Bought the truck site unseen from a dealer 2 hours away. They were awesome and even drove the truck to me for delivery. Upon arrival I noticed the tailgate looked to be misaligned and had various paint chips. The lower left (driver side corner) seems to run just a little when open and the right side bracket looks like it was moved based on the unpainted surface showing. I called the dealer and they promise it was not damaged and said it never moved once delivered.

So, questions, what would everyone do? Take it to a local dealer to see if they would fix it? Drive the 2 hours and ask the original dealer to fix? Find a reputable body shop to fix?

Thanks!

Take it to a dealer nearby and explain the situation, since your buyer seems useless, you shouldn't have to pay to fix this yourself.

Thanks. My local dealer is taking a look Monday. Didn’t seem surprised by the issue so that was good.
