Cracked my tail light yesterday. What’s everyone’s opinion on replacement? Stick with stock? LED? Which LED ones do y’all prefer? Thanks in advance.

I think the OEM taillights look good, but they definitely show their age.

Me personally, I'm a HUGE fan of aftermarket head/taillights that: look great (subjectively), function as good or better as OEM, and don't look too out of place in the design language of the rest of the vehicle. I'd be lying if I didn't tell you my car buying decision is heavily influenced by the taillights / what options I have.

I'm going for an OEM+ look. The red Morimotos match that description to me, as they borrow inspiration from the pre-facelift Gen 3 Raptors. I love the outline running lights, the brake lights look like jewels. I feel like they really modernize it and the red glow bleeds out farther to the sides, helping me see just a little bit without having side lights.

Asusming you can get them for a reasonable price, which might be tough now, I'd get OEM. I got a pair of new OEM taillights for only $90 back in 2016, but I have a feeling Ford no longer makes/sells them.

Don't overtighten the mounting screws whatever you put in there- that's what cracks them 99% of the time.

I sold mine at $120 cash this summer, not sure if the ones on eBay are OEM quality, but they were going for under $190 new when I was checking to see how much to price mine.

If you see any lights sold as "pulled from a Harley-Davidson", they're the same as the Raptors.
