Please explain...... This way seems really legit! I like my ladies music but I need my phone handicapable while driving. Do you need MFT for this capability bc I have a 12'?

First you put your primary phone and connect it to the bluetooth. Next, once it is connected, you go to the media screen and chose "Bluetooth devices". It will show you which device is connected. You the select the bluetooth device that you want your media player to be connected and then push the connect button and it will then disconnect the media portion of your primary phone and then connect to your 2nd device as the media player. This will give you the phone function on one bluetooth connection and the media player/phone on the second bluetooth connection to the truck.

Mine is a stock '12 also so if it works with mine it should work with yours.

You can't.

It's not possible.

And why would you think such a thing would be possible? How would you see that functioning? What would two phone do via the Sync system?

Wow, silly me.

I thought that was a reasonable question. Until recently, I was in the same boat-work and personal phones.

Why the attitude?
You ever hear of a computer network or a shared drive?

Why wouldn't it be possible? It's not like he was asking for cold fusion or something like that. I would imagine Sync would assign one phone as a primary, that one that would come up first with its phonebook and such, but if the other (secondary) received a call- it would go thru the Sync.

A friend had a Bluetooth that would handle two phones, What it boils down to is Ford didn't think it was needed or didn't want to spend the development money to add it.

Thanks for the support, for a minute I thought I was asking who the Second Gunman on the Grassy Knoll Area was in Dallas, 1963. Wow, that's the first time I have run into that type of answer on the forum. Oh well, some people have trouble expressing themselves. Thanks again for the support!

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I do this in my 2010 with the NAV. So what I do is have my phone that I want to take calls as the Favorite in the truck. Then after my phone has connected automatically during the start up of the truck, she goes in the the media and clicks on Bluetooth devices. When she is in the media she connects her phone which at this time is memorized by the truck but not picked as the favorite. If I get a phone call or TXT. It over rides her phone's music and takes the call or text. Once the call or text is finished it goes back to playing her music just as it was before the other stuff happened.
