Sync 3.4 Download Today

Just a heads up, my stereo downloaded Sync 3.4 today when I pulled into the garage.

Mine doesn’t fit in the garage so I had to use USB, I am loving the blue.

I've got a 2020. Will it just update OTA automatically or do I need to pair it with my phone? I usually just use Apple Car Play for my audio.

You have to pair your stereo with your home WiFi modem.

You should go into your settings and check the version. I have a 2020 and it came with 3.4.

Great. I did notice that.

Evidently, I had Automatic Updates turned on, so be patient. Went to work on Thursday, radio on and parked in garage. After work, screen was blank, no radio, no backup camera, no nothing. WTF??!! Didn't know what was going on. Drove home, nothing. Friday, drove around on errands. Nothing. Scheduled an appointment online for Saturday AM.

Started truck Saturday AM and the new blue screen appeared. That's when I checked and saw automatic updates were turned on. However, no GPS and no Sirius XM so drove to dealer anyway. Dealer then tells me that they cannot work on the radio on Saturday. OK. Drove home, on the way home, GPS connected but no traffic. By the time I got home, traffic link connected. Sent a refresh signal from Sirius XM and radio is now working.

So, be patient.

Now, the Maps did not update and I'm in the process of downloading the maps to install via USB.
