At 550RWHP, it sounds like they have that worked out already.

You can easy 600whp on pump with the right fueling and tune. Just haven't been done yet. Wish they had port injection. Then it would really unleash power

The truck has both port and direct injection.

Allegedly lol, that's just what my customer was told when they delivered his GTR. He should be the first one to get the "kit" in a few months so we shall see.

Yeah true until we see a dyno chart I suppose it's just a unicorn.

I wonder what an upgraded turbo set up like this would cost, though?

Not that much likely. There's kits out for the previous EcoBoost and they're like $2300 -2500. Throw in the Raptor tax and even at $3k + the cost of a tune and intercooler, it'd be a smoking deal to add 150-200 rwhp.

We shouldn't have the fueling issues of the previous gen and hopefully the transmission shares internals with the version in the ZL1 Camaro. You could have a solid, reliable 550 rwhp on pump gas.

What fueling issues? I'm at 560 (and that's on Toyo MTs) with no fueling issues. Just needed larger injectors.

I agree that spending around $5k to add 200 RWHP would be a pretty smoking deal.

My guess is the tranny will be fine at that level. Seems unlikely the new one would be any weaker than the old one.

He was talking about the fueling issues with the Gen1 ecoboost. The direct injection was pretty much maxed out with just a tune.
