So i started to work on putting my 2013 at mid perch and realized that the owner before me switched out the original bolt and basically made it a stud. I was just wondering how to remove it because they are stuck together and move together. I can’t fit my impact up there either so I honestly have no clue what to do. The bolt is just completely missing the hex drive.

Hard to tell from photo… but definitely no “Allen wrench” hole on top of bolt?

How about directly below the sway bar? Sometimes requires a very thin open end wrench. See below. May have to compress little boot to find it.

Is the shaft below the sway bar spinning as well? Also the above post might be you answer. And do you have a welder?

I'd pull these 2 brackets (that secure the swaybar to the frame). That way, you can move everything around, continue with the project, and test out your springs on mid-perch. Do you need a swaybar? Not really. With the same track width as an H1 Hummer, you can certainly play around on mid-perch for awhile.

Cut off wheel, 10 minutes, buy a new end link!

Or cut off wheel, remove sway bar and go on with life.

Mines been sway bar free since 2015 and I haven't looked back.
Same
Missing sway bar endlinks (bar is still there for now) it only gets hairy when you turn at high speeds but that just keeps you on your toes.
