If anyone was looking to know if a Badlands Apex 12 will work with the Swarfworks, I can answer.
You will need a spacer. I purchased the Rugged Ridge XHD Bumper Winch Mounting Spacers | Textured Black, Steel | 11540.15 | Fits XHD Bumpers from Rugged Ridge
When mounted, the freewheel lever is easy access between the skid plate.
