Folks,

I'm ready for my next set of mods and will be focusing on "power". Currently looking at SW Headers and either their Lightning or Dual Exhaust options.

Having read other threads I know both options are great quality and both will provide additional horsepower and extra "grunt".

All of this will be tied in with a 5 star tuner.

Would like to hear some extra opinions.

The question you need to ask yourself is "Will you offroad or be a street queen?"

I have the Lightning Exhaust, its sounds great and looks good...but for offoad it is complete garbage. The TIPS hit the frame, and cause it to downturn. At Havoc I had someone weld it to stop doing that...but now it just bangs on the frame...I will most likely be cutting it before the next event

Another guy had his lightning exhaust completely fall off....so learn from our lesson if you plan on going offroad

I don't know about that. I have lightning and drive the shit out of my truck. Haven't had an issue. My guess is, find someone that can install it good and welds good!

Jordan suffered a failure from SW weld where the one into two is welded. He's exhaust had fallen off previously from the clamp while on the SDBR.

I installed a lighting on my scab at havoc and had an extra hanger welded on so it wouldn't move

Ya I'm seeing this too. I cut myself cleaning the tips... I noticed the exhaust must have hit the truck somewhere bc one tip had a metal burr that snagged my hand.

Ya I was going to make a lightning style until the Havoc event. 2 or 3 guys tore theirs off and they were destroyed...

As wolf and huck stated if you decide to take your truck offroad you will most likely have problems with it drooping or even falling off if I could post pictures I would but mine is all mangled up and actually caught my brake line and almost tore it off

just noticed the brake line huck lol its actually cut and was pulled out of the hangers
