Has anyone done the borla touring or ford racing (which is the same) with long tube headers and high flow cats? I just installed a 34" borla prerunner muffler 3"in/out with the factory resonator on my 14 Roush screw and it's quitter than stock at idle and descent throat at higher rpms, more of a sleeper. I would like a little more sound but nothing to loud.

Anyone ever figure out how long they need a truck for? I have a set of SW LT's that haven't been installed yet/ still. I could be tempted to let them use my truck for prototyping, which would allow it to be done with and without LT's installed. I'm curious how long they would need to do this and what kind of timeframe they are looking at.

Just got off the phone with Chris. They are still interested in developing the system but it probably won't be until February. The issue has been they can't have a truck long enough for R&D. I told him when the time gets closer we will work on finding a truck for them to use.

I would imagine they could do an install in one day but the quoted text above is what I was referring to. I haven't seen a new system and was curious how long it would take them to prototype it. If it only takes one day it's really a no brainer!

He mentioned a few days during one conversation.

I was reading some of these and you do realize adding headers is not making your truck any louder right? Headers are for performance so if its too loud change the muffler

Another option is not to mix and match different companies parts because they have already done the R&D and dyno numbers and sound levels so say you use Kooks headers w/ high flow cats but use Borla mufflers you will have a totally different sound then you heard on youtube or in person. You're better off to use someone's kit rather than muffler shop you will save time and money and fit and finish.

When I added headers to my truck, it got really loud. I had the same Corsa muffler as before. Only other difference was I had the cats removed.

Headers definitely make it louder, think about it there's less resistance and the flow is much much better
