The damping power the 3.5 up front has is amazing. It was able to keep up with the longer travel and 3.5 of the rear. And watching the video again I can see that the front would go full droop at some points without making contact with the bottom of the woop and just hang there until the next woop making that 3.5 up front get a workout.
I did give a ride to someone who had a dual 3.0 set up front and he was amazed and grinning ear to ear on how much more control there is with a 3.5. So yes size does matter.
Side note on RCV CVs for the raptors are not very good. All the ones I have seen are constantly losing their grease causing the the CVs to go to shit faster. RCV are fantastic on Jeeps and other rock crawlers with long travel but they are not going as fast as our trucks. If you want the longer wheel travel up front, then I'd say ditch the 4wd.
