The way the svc bolts on doesn't look as beefy as rpg or icon that's what I immediately noticed
The SVC kit runs a 2.5" King or Fox bump vs Icon 2.0 and the overall size of the kit is virtually identical in size to an RPG kit with the main mounting plates welded to both the inside of the main frame support, plus welded on the entire exterior section as well. I cant think of another kit on the market that does this. The 3 main bolts we supply to attach the can are aircraft grade quality bolts with roughly a 170,000 psi tensile strenght each. The chances of you shearing those off are slim to none. To give you idea the shear capacity of a grade 8 bolt is rated too 27,920 pounds, and the bolts we supply are about 6,000 pounds stronger than that per bolt meaning you have about 18,000 pounds in reserve. A grade 8 would have been strong enough for the application but just don't look as cool. Think of it this way, Raptors have seen 3.0 shocks rip off shock mounts before sheering even a single bolt. Long story short, barring some deffect in all 3 bolts, you will damage a thousand other things on your truck before you could ever blow the cans off the truck.
Also, we changed the production version of the bump kits upper section to add a little more structure vs. the prototype kits, and it wasn't cause it needed it. I really just wanted it to look a little bit cooler.
I'll post up some pics tonight of the production version but for now you can see it in the CAD pics on the ABS page. Those are what the actual production versions look like.

The whole bump adjustment system seems like a good idea in theory, but as human nature has it, we are inherently somewhat lazy and like things of convenience. Probably just me, but I don't see guys adjusting these 6 x bolts/bumps every time you go from an offroad environment back to onroad. (if it were a push button system, then yes).
Possibly a good idea when towing, but "street" setting, seems like a waste, and/or insignificant answer to a problem that doesn't exist.
I totally agree with some people never moving the cans and that's all well and good because there is no need to if you don't want too. The great thing about the sytem is you can leave them in offroad mode for the whole life of the kit if you want, you won't hurt a thing. The offroad mode is the preffered mode and is the zone that 95% of the owners should leave it in for their everyday use.
My theory is we come in all different shapes and sizes so why not give people who want the option to adjust, the option? The great thing about our kit is the fact we are able to achieve a kit with more versatility than the others for the same cost, performance and strength, and any time I can offer the consumer more for the same as others less, I will do so everytime.
To your point about a problem that doesn't exist, your spot on, it's not a real problem at all. But what I will say about the topic is I have talked to thousands of Raptor owners over the years and I know for a fact many will never use their trucks in the dirt and only want a bump system for the looks of it in the wheel well and nothing more. These discussion are what lead me to add the third comfort zone. We had the room to do it, so why not? The way I see it, if only one SVC customer ever uses the feature then I will sleep better at ninght knowing I was able to put a smile on that customers face.
