Got a friend who is too lazy to join or post. He asked me a question the other day as his 13 is running out of warranty and he wants to make some suspension modifications. He asked if you have a street only Raptor but want to make some modifications to the suspension to make the ride better, smoother and much more responsive. I told him consider RPG tie rods, perhaps upper control arms and that was about it. Didn't think changing shocks/springs would be necessary since it is a street queen. You guys agree......did I miss anything?

I would go new shocks and forget about that other stuff, if he is on a budget. If not go nuts.

Would the RPG tie rods not improve handling and feel? Didn't think shocks would make much difference for a street queen. Looks like I didn't help him much.

Really don't have an opinion, just wanted to say I read all Mudblood's posts just to see his avatar.

Not a bad reason.. :Hump:

I would go for the rear springs if he wants to help with axel hop.
Adding a set of Fox's with DSC adjusters and valved for a street queen could also help

I would do the springs for sure as the axel hop drives me crazy.

I would consider revalving my factory shocks and go timid perch. I good suspension shop can work some serious magic with valving and other trade secrets. Surely they can be tuned for speed bumps without needing to upgrade.

Let me ask you about those tie rods. Did you really notice a big difference? He talked with me yesterday and I told him what you guys had suggested. He is interested in the tie rods but not sure he will notice much difference. I don't have aftermarket tie rods so I can't say for sure. I have seen very positive comments about them on this site.
