Surface rust on 4 month old nationals

National and Deaver make springs for all sorts of trucks and trailers. Because of the volume they pump out unfortunately they quickly paint the springs. If you have the time just pull them apart and paint them with a couple of coats with some quality paint. They will still rust from the wear and being in the elements, just not as fast.

Ha...I was just about to post something asking this same question...My Nationals are 2 weeks old and have a ton of rust...I like the quick Spray Paint and WD-40 suggestions. Thanks
