ROUSH Industries is a Tier One supplier of fully integrated engineering and development support services to the worldwide automotive industry. And as far as I know the ONLY Tier one out of all supercharger companies. With this level of access to Ford/SVT they can go deeper into the ECM than others..

That's an interesting stance from a guy with enough non-ford parts on his ride to build three extra trucks! (just funning you) ;)

Going deeper into the ECM to tune better for an inefficient method of creating more power can only get you so far. The roots blower is severely inefficient when it comes to making power. First, it takes power to make power. Second, the unnecessary turbulence created by the roots style blowers causes unnecessary heat rises. Third, air-to-water heat exchanges are extremely inefficient unless you're always cruising. The only way you could make it efficient is if you had a reserve ice tank. I can continue on if you'd like & get more in-depth on the inefficiencies of roots style blowers. Turbo > Centrifugal > Twin Screw > Roots is how the efficiency line goes when it comes to popular forced induction setups. Twin Screw blowers actually compress air within their rotors & into the upper intake manifold, roots do the opposite. Roots compress air against the blower case which causes turbulence & creates the extra heat that roots have over twin screw blowers.... anyway Tier One or Tier Ten, if they use inefficient technology then they're not the best.

You are correct... Might strong supporter of more suspension over more hp anyday!

Here is the way I look at it...
Offroad all the time... Livernois 6.6
Offroad occasionally (1 or 2 times a year) Roush
Strictly on road Shelby
More money than common sense Hennessey

Plus the ever growing amount of Pro-charger raptor owners and their proven performance stats should speak for the kits alone...o...wait..nevermind...

Will let you know what I think - soon. Mine should be "Roushed" by the end of the
week.

I have the stage 1 Roush, eventually it will be a custom tuned Stage 2. I spoke with a few vendors who sell both Roush and Whipple and they uniformly stated low end off the line the Roush is better. For top end bragging rights they all stated Whipple.

I could not be happier with mine, the truck runs great, with my upgraded RPG Nationals it is solid out of the hole.

I am sure the Whipple boys will speak up shortly and maybe a guest appearance from the guy who's Roush allegedly blew up everything but his valve stems, but I really don't think you can go wrong either way.

Probably the bigger decision is who does the install and how confident you are in them. I almost went Whipple but ended up Roush for that very reason.

Let me know if you have any questions, I did a ton of research talked to guys at SEMA last year and called many vendors before I bought my kit.

Whipple produces the most power. Is the largest blower I know of. 2.9l. And has a more consistent power availability. First image is whipple. 91 octane stock exhaust produced 508rwhp (635crank) and 490 tq. - the roush was done with 93 octane but I'm not sure if this was the stage 1 or 2. But it still has a good representation of the power band. - I also just put a whipple in my truck so that's why I'm supporting it. Better gas mileage. Effortless drive. And exactly the speed and acceleration I was hoping for. But honestly I can't imagine you would b unhappy with any supercharger you put in ur truck.

I also believe roush comes with roush graphics which is convenient.

Shelby uses the whipple on the gt500 and their new Shelby raptor.
