Supercharger To-Do

Ive pretty much pb blasted everything ive touched and havent had problems yet. Truck is canadian but looks extremely good from what i can tell. Going to find out the whole story tommorrow when cleaning starts

I just replaced the manifolds, gaskets, etc. They are cheap (like $140 each). With the supercharger there is more heat and exhaust pressure and I think it's just a matter of time before they leak. With the supercharger off you just have more room to look and work and get it done... Just my opinion but I get PTSD from my experience! (that and my former crappy Mishimoto radiators).

Could be the case but i always though it was back pressure that would take something out like an exhaust manifold. Im not too concerned because it was professionally done when the 1st owner got the truck. I saw the paperwork and they even replaned the heads from factory to fit better. What did you notice when the manifolds started to go, ticking? Exhaust smell in cabin?

And how many miles were you supercharged? Aftermarket or roush/shelby trim?

Ticking on passenger side. Truck had 85k miles and maybe 10k on the charger.

Stock exhaust? That could be why. Cats could be blown out too. You need at least high flow cats or catless to my understanding or that will happen. Mine may be catless not sure yet lol ill have to check paperwork. Said headers, high flow cats and catback exhaust. Definately doesnt look or sound stock

I have an aftermarket exhaust. I live in the beautiful state of California so cat choices are very limited.

Im sure there are high flow cats that are EPA complaint. I find it strange that a lot of blowers come from cali but they are so strict with EPA stuff. Mine is there right now getting rebuilt. Got a bit delayed because of the fires
