Just spent the last couple hours reading through rules and info on this forum. Sorry for noob post and not educating myself first with the forum rules. Hopefully Hennessey proves everyone on here wrong with my build lol. I’ll make sure to have a fire extinguisher and good insurance in the mean time.
Congrats on the truck. People here have a knee jerk reaction to the name Hennessey and post the same Gen1 that caught fire 12 years ago. So don't let them run you down on your purchase. Congrats and hope you enjoy it. @VeloRaptorX

Thank you! I'm definitely not upset about purchase, I just pray I don't have to come back on here soon with problems and get the "I told you so comment from everyone"

Appreciate it!
They all didn't all burn to the ground. LOL I see a few of them for sale in the used world. I don't know their history real well. When I was looking for a raptor a friend (who owned a raptor) said "Don't get a Hennessey".

The problems seamed to be with the Gen Juan 09-14 that was a Long time ago. I would hope they got their stuff figured out by now. I defiantly hope you don't have to come back and say any thing negative about them.

I personally am not a big fan of the front bumper. BUT.... I don't think is horrible. The truck looks great and I bet it is FUN to drive. If you love it then that is what matters.

OEM blowers aren't really worth anything other to someone who needs a new one. Nobdy needs them now since they will be under wartranty for 5 years.

I put mine in the box the Whipple came in. Every time I think about it I'll give the snout a turn to oil up the gears up front and move the bearings. At some point they become really valuable once people start to restore previously modified vechicles back to stock.

About Henessey?

They suck donkey balls. Grifter. Thief. Scammer. All the words that come to mind.

Didn't the Viper guys get dicked all the way back in the late 90s?

The gullible rich "car guys" are still feeding him from their cash firehoses 30 years later. Crazy.
