Supercharger and tuning question

Hey all .

I just picked up a 2011 Raptor, really liking it so far. I ordered a Procharger from ATI and will install it in spring along with a full exhaust system.

My question is more re tuning ..... ATI told me I could see more power if I was to get it tuned again after I do a full exhaust system, more of a custom tune for my set up rather than the out of the box tune that comes with the ATI unit.

I see there are site vendors here that do tuning ( would prefer to support a Supporting Vendor) Im sure you guys can help me here. Does anyone write a custom tune for the ATI and a full ( headers and cat back ) exhaust system already?

Since I am not installing the Procharger till spring would I be able to down load a tune now and then add to this once I install the ATI and exhaust system ?

You could do mail order tuning which 5 Star does or you find a local SCT tuner and have them do a dyno tune. Where you are located would help a lot.

I'm in Ontario Canada...... mail order tuning is fine just wondering if a tune now can be changed later to accept the exhaust and Procharger?

When dealing with the boost and exhaust change I figured it would be a lot easier to find an SCT tuner and have them set the truck on the dyno for a much more accurate tune.

I'd would suggest getting it on a dyno and have it tuned.

Best and safest method is a dyno tune. Be sure they have wideband A/F monitoring.

From what my tuner was saying the front o2's on the raptors are wideband which makes tuning a lot easier.

Small world ..... Livernois just built a motor for another project for me and are tuning it now. I hope to pick up the truck in a week or two.

As for the Tune I spoke with Mike today from 5 Star ... great guy. I purchased one of his tunes for now until I get the exhaust done and the SC installed. Then a full dyno tune will be in order for sure. Thanks MB
