After looking at the RappyGraphics site, I remembered that I had some 3M backed carbon fiber (shelf paper type material). This morning I cut out three pieces that would cover the idiot labels.

I have the carbon fiber option on my truck, so it matched.

When did you purchase yours? Because the new design does not have the claws going over the decal edges. I purchased mine years ago for my GEN1 that did the same as yours and the claw edges started curling. Josh has redesigned these with the claws staying within the decal and cover the visor decals completely now.

I got them about two months ago. Maybe they sent me a set from their old batch then.

My Homelink is awesome... I can hit my garage door from roughly 400' away. Plenty of distance for me. All of my clip on garage door openers are sitting in a coat closet for the new owners when I sell my house. :)

Are you referring to buying a new visor? How much are they?

Mine works fine pulling up to my garage, but since I back in, it rarely works when leaving my garage as I am facing away from it. I have switched to using my Watch to close it when I leave so I do not have the carry the ugly remote on the visor.

I say, Hey Siri, close Raptor Door, and she does it quite nicely for me.

I wonder if you did order new ones, do they come without the decals? I think that might be worth it...

The decals readily come off with a little heat and some persuasion. The glue residue can be dissolved with non-chlorinated brake cleaner, same as dry cleaning fluid, and then brushing the cloth with a medium bristle brush. The cover up decals look worse to me than the safety tags do. There are many youtube videos on how it's done.

I've seen several pics on the F150 forums where people have attempted to remove the visor safety decals. But in all of the pics of the decal removal that I've seen you could see some sort of outline or discoloring. That discouraged me from wanting to try it.

I did a fair amount of searching on the main F150 forums and other sources and despite some mixed reviews, I tried removing the safety labels. I was able to get the decal off, but I wouldn't say "readily", it does take a lot of persuasion. I wasn't happy with what was left on the sunvisor even after treatment. I ended up getting the Sunvisor Solutions in Jet Black and its a fairly dead on match and is not very noticeable. Certainly much much less noticeable then the safety labels.
