My bother is a mechanic
He said that there are multple trucks he and a collega of him serviced ( trucks are rare here )
His general opinion is that the build quality is crappy

From what i read here. With the things like the front diff as an exeption. How does it compare ??

Cause i think its rubbish what he said

Compared to a same price class euro it's crappy, compared to a same price class gmc or Chevy and it's still crappy. That being said I still love mine.

I had a guy stop me at schnucks(grocery store) in a ruby red SE. He proceeded to ask me what year mine was, and the he went on to explain how his was completely different than mine. His apparently has fox off-road racing suspension that mine doesn't have and comes factory with 500hp. I guess I got ripped off

And yet, all the SE really got him was paint, stickers, and a bit of red leather. And it only cost him $10K! What a deal! (Somewhere out there is a car salesman being treated for uncontrollable hysterical laughter.)

I would have walked him over and started pointing out everything he mentioned mine didn't have and then I would have demanded proof of the stock 500hp. When he failed to produce that I'd just sit back and enjoy the ensuing meltdown as it slowly dawned on him that not only did he not get a deal, but he paid way over MSRP!
