2 days ago someone tried to convince me my 6.2 was a v12 because the 5.4 's come v8. I kindly said, "you no what? your right. Thank you for teaching me something about my own truck." Everyone around us were basically in tears because the guy was so sure.

Maximum tow weight is 650kilo ( 1500lbs) unless you have a special tow license

This one was stupid: The gate guard driving on base asked me why there were yellow lights across the front. I did the "Its DOT required" lines and he kept telling me that like on big rigs the yellows go across the back and not the front. After I was certain he was not going to get it that yellow in the front and reds across the rear, I just drove off. I didnt even attempt to point out the red ones on the rear corners.

Actually got a kinda funny/wierd one the other day.

Was filling some gas cans the other day. I go into pay and grab a bottle of water and the guy behind the register asks if that's my Raptor. (Oh boy... Here we go.)

"Yep! Sure is."

"Very nice. 6.2! That's one of the originals!"

"Ummm, what?" (Fords never made a Raptor before. What the hell is he talking about?)

"6.2's. They don't make them anymore. Damn government says they can't sell them anymore, so they only made em for the first year."

"Well... No. The 6.2 has been standard since 2011. They only had the 5.4 as an option for the first year or so."

"Hmmm... You sure? I'm pretty sure it was the other way around."

"It's a 2013, so yeah... I'm pretty sure."

Hahaha... Love people trying to tell me facts (usually wrong) about my own truck. Also love all my offroad lighting. Nobody has a freaking clue what to make of that around here! "What're all those lights for? Are they fog lights?" At least two to three times a week I get that question. Lol

The buddy I brought as a copilot to TRR kept asking prior why I spent so much on lights (really didn't) and needed it so bright. After TRR he said he understood now and I needed more.
