I stopped at the dealer for service and the owner walked out and asked if I was trading it in. I said yes...

"REALLY" was his reply, then I cracked up at his response. That ended that thought!!

An update: The above was from about 9 mos back.

Went in for service today. The owner comes out, sees me and the truck and pops right over and says you ready to trade for the new '17 Raptor? We should be able to take orders soon!!

My answer: "no way in hell!!" He went on to tell me how great they'll be and I asked him for details.... (I mentioned I didn't want a girly engine!!) and he got right into how great the hopped up **** ant engines are.


I'll keep the gas hog!!!

(side note: he mentioned a Dr. had traded a Lincoln truck in for a Rap a couple years back. He said he waited a year and called the guy figuring he'd had enough of Raptor and would want back into a luxury truck. The guy told him HELL NO!! But, he then bought another truck but won't give up his Raptor either!!)

(second side note added: I mentioned some stuff on this site and he then brought up Broncos... He said he's been fielding a bunch of calls about a new Bronco coming out. He asked me "what's up with that, there's NO bronco being mention by Ford". I laughed and said there's sveral old photos and old proto's being shown on the net. He said IF there's actually a Bronco, it's the best kept secret Ford has ever had!!)

No stupid things but something that I have noticed - Chicks like this car. Old chicks, young chicks.

Got called out by 2 girls in a Jeep with some big tires the other day - "I love your truck!!!"
Day before got complimented by a good looking one after I parked it - "Beautiful truck!!!"

I've had an 08 4Runner, but my last 2 cars were an Audi R8, and a BMW M3, both highly modded and most of the attention came from car guys. So it's funny that it seems like girls seem to be drawn towards the trucks....

This reminds me about a month ago I was running really late for work and a very BEAUTIFUL young woman told me she loved my truck and I was in such a hurry I just smiled at her, said thanks and went on my way! Never again will this injustice happen! I thought about her the entire shift thinking I should of stopped and talked to her...next time...

Parked by the windows at a Wards restaurant; two ladies and one dude all in their mid 60's pointed and was talking about my truck. I went in, got my food and they approached me as I was eating asking about my truck. I answered all their questions and they asked could they look at it. Of course I said, as I unlocked the doors. Those two ladies took more time looking than the dude did!

Here is a good one...I pull up to the drive thru window for my coffee and the woman says "Here you go the guy in front of you bought your coffee He said he loves your truck" That was pretty cool and awkward all at that the same time.
