stupid shock question

Yeah, most tire shops have tanks that are high pressure and dispense until the tanks are empty. As for full extension, it's easy for a tire shop, they have lifts, put it on a lift, juice up the shocks, and go on.
Local off-road shops have and do the same thing, if they can install a lift kit, they can lift it to extend the shocks and fill/top off the shocks.

Around here we don’t have local offroad shops, we’ll we have like one but it is more of a lift kit shop and the shocks they install are the white smooth bodies. Most our local tire shops only have floor jacks without extensions………..

Point is I’m on my own where I live so I have the powertank setup and it was pricy, but I like how convenient it is. You could definitely build a kit cheaper though. When I go to rebuild the shocks I’ll have the nitrogen to do so.
