so new-ish to me raptor came with CAI thing.
well today i managed to **** the battery by leaving key in. popped the hood to jump it and noticed....
air filter completely disconnected and laying there. doh!
apparently didn’t like the off-roading and the flange that the filter attaches to doesn’t have a lip to prevent this.
now doom on me for not checking tightness, but this sort of thing doesn’t happen with a regular airbox.
so i figure it was off for a hundred miles maybe. and a couple decent dust clouds.
i’ll change the oil today, check the maf sensor for dirt and move on.
i’m guessing should be fine. but i’ll keep eye on oil consumption.
ordered a factory airbox of ebay today as well.
