Just to be sure, that's just normal wheels (without beadlocks), right?Sand 12-14, rough trail 14-16, not so rough 18-20. Lower pressure = more comfort and more tire patch. Higher = higher speeds.

I was specifically asking @jzweedyk if he was recommending those tire pressures for normal wheels. Or are you saying you agree with those tire pressures for normal wheels? I wasn't just taking a poll of who runs what wheels.
beadlock wheels would run down to 6 or 8psi..
but when you look at the tire at that psi, are you really gaining any benefit going lower than about 10PSI? I suppose even so, the bead lock buys you more ...inarticulate throttle use.
That is correct, non bead lock wheels. I do not have bead locks on my Raptor.Just to be sure, that's just normal wheels (without beadlocks), right?
once you are buried to the frame in sand (which is really quick) no option will help you, except the friend with a strap option. i usually run 20psi in the sand and if i start to spin tires, switch to 4wd. usually will get you going. i have been down to 12psi when i couldnt get out of a ravine in the sand dunes after pulling someone out, (due to the soft sand, i had to pull him out going downhill) but at the top i aired back up to 20.Anyone ever try the trail control to get out of being stuck in the sand? I know they claim it will do it but I have my doubts. Might go out with a few friends(to pull me out if it doesn't work) and try it.
