I called ford so they can check and they told me to wait until the 12th

No, all the levels are good, first month with the truck, just 1000 miles.

Looks to me just like you have a loose/bad/leaking oil filter.

Go buy a Motorcraft FL820 oil filter at any parts store, a couple quarts of 5w20 oil & a can of brake cleaner.

Replace the oil filter, make sure the old one wasn't double gasketed, top off the oil, start the engine, shut it off, check the oil again, spray if off with brake cleaner and be done with it.

10 minute job max.

Avoid the dealership run around at all costs.

Is this the dealer where you bought it? For a new truck to be leaking they should get you in right away, I would be taking to a manager, general manager preferred.

I know, I called the dealership where I got it and spend over 40 minutes on hold just to tell me that they can't receive it :/ until mid next month.

I would love to avoid the dealer and the days without my truck, but I'm ashamed to confess that I'm a noob, my skills with motors and that type of stuff is not something I have previous experience, I work in the software industry so all this is new for me

actually its tiffany ford in hollister. i have had bad experiences at the other local dealers but tiffany ford has been good to me. they are also mod friendly.

I work in IT for a Fortune 6 company and I've done plenty of oil changes and replaced the fluid in my front and rear differentials. Being a "software guy" is no excuse! Do yourself a favor and order a service manual online. If you can read, then you can pretty easily do most of what the dealer does and likely better because you won't be in a hurry. Replacing a filter is not big deal at all. Now, a leaky drainplug would be a bit more of a challenge if it was anything other than just being loose.

It'll be a major benefit for the longevity of your truck if you can do your own maintanence. At minimum you'd at least be able to tell if they did crappy work and immediately call them out on it. Service isn't what it used to be.
