Storage System Under Retrax Rolling Cover Box

Looking to see if anybody has seen, or is aware of a storage system that could be used under the canister of most retractable bed covers, like the Retrax? Considering the size of these beds, I would like to use every bit I can and thought someone would have done it already. Did a quick search but didn't find anything.
Thinking about a mini-Dekked type drawer or trays to store stuff, like straps or towing accessories, tools, etc.
I will probably fab something up if I cant buy some bolt in.

I have just finished solving for the same problem. Wanted environment proof box storage under the retrax cover.

Solution is 2 x 30mm ammo cans + 20L Fuel can:

Just use a strap around them connected to the bed hooks. They cant move up at all - they are very close to the bottom of the canister, so it just keeps them from sliding back.

I threw something together with some 80/20 and a couple drawer boxes. So far, so good. i might make some changes.
