Bro on behalf of everyone you
I’m 52 and my mother shot herself less than a foot away from me while I was reaching for the gun. I buried my dad 3 days before it was stolen out of a hotel parking lot in Houston. Gerry Spence and RaceHorse Haynes were my mentors, if you have ever heard of them. Call ********? Ok. that’s your prerogative. The rest of my response is below. “Your group” is a judgmental place, full of ignorant and uncaring members. what a disgrace, and great example of the lack of sincerity and can’t hold a candle to the patriots in the USA in the previous generations. And to think I’d find like minded individuals On the site. People really are becoming lovers of self, boastful, and you can look up the rest in 2 Tim.. I think. Like I wrote previously, I hope none of you haters and funny guys experience the same. SMH
”our group” is so judgmental and uncaring and yet you continue to interact with us…seems legit lol let me give you a piece of advice snowflake… you ever hear of the phrase “it’s a joke, not a dik. Don’t take it so hard”? Try to apply that principle to your interactions with other people.

First of all…If I, or anyone else, expressed our doubts about your Unsolved Mysteries acid trip of a stolen Raptor story… ask yourself… do you have something to prove to anyone on here? Are we going to have a powwow and tac pictures of whatever shenanigans evidence you’ve thrown our way on the wall, then connect them all with red yarn, and catch the killer? How about you take all that energy and instead of telling us a family tragedy story that has zero fks to do with anything whatsoever related to this Raptor Forum or it’s content, find a bicycle, and go pedal to the police department where they may take a report but will more likely Baker Act you.

For a 52 year old man you respond with nothing but irrational emotion like a pre-teen. And I’ll have you know you have no right whatsoever to speak to anyones patriotism. You don’t know us from Adam and neither we you. Let’s keep it that way.

Please Find your way to the Dr.Phil forum as that is a more productive and safe space for your fairly tales, and make sure to suk a bag of diks along the way.

Best regards,
The “Judgmental, Ignorant, disgraceful, uncaring, unpatriotic” forum members who still have their Raptors in their possession

It’s all BS like you are an atty. maybe you got the truck stolen, but you’re not a trail lawyer

If he's not an attorney, he's impersonating someone who is. The name and bar number check out:

I'm not doxxing the guy since he posted it himself. I would suggest a search of his name in the news and a review of his linkedin account may cause people to have a good understanding of why his statements are disjointed and seem difficult to conform to the reader's reality. If it's the same guy, he's got his own issues to deal with and, while I'll not pile on, I won't be interacting with him any longer either.

Shawn Roberts SBN00794540 Texas the Galveston County vehicular task force did say the checked the vins. 2 of them. They were running interference tho imo. I hope your dad doesn’t die from dementia and cancer caused by Agent Orange n your trucks stolen 3 days later. Clearly you are not only more intelligent but also a much stronger person.

This is all too weird. You're user name is the same first initial and last name of the cop on the task force? Have you given a reason that you didn't report it to the cops immediately, or did I miss it?

If you're truck was stolen, I feel for you, but I'm having a hard time following.

I carry badass insurance on all my stuff. If my truck was stolen I would be pissed, but I would just go get another one.

EDIT: Nevermind about the user name. The lack of punctuation tripped me up for a bit.

It was reported stolen. I just waited a few days to see if it would pop up. read the replies. Your correct there’s defi something off. the police did nothing. Not even get the video from the parking lot or the Shell station which was the last known. I was hoping to recover it, and came close but it’s gone now 4 good.
Oh the police did nothing huh? Well if you actually waited a few days to report it and then got that response when you did report it Let me tell you why straight from the horses mouth bud…if someone calls 911 dispatch and says something to the effect of “my Raptor was just stolen from [location]”, the vehicle color make model and tag are immediately BOLO’d across main channel and whatever units are free will go to the entry/exit points of the city and standby, as most suspects who steal vehicles will immediately leave the “victim-city” limits. That vehicle is subsequently entered into teletype as stolen by VIN, Tag, and any officer safety notes (ie firearm was in vehicle at the time of the theft). In addition, cities and interstates are equipped with LPR’s (license plate readers) which are connected to the laptops in our vehicles. While most of the alerts received are for expired tags, suspended DL’s associated with vehicle registered owners, we also get alerts when the LPR reads a tag that was reported as stolen.

But the cops did nada after you waited 3 days for it to “pop up” at which point what exactly would have been your move? Any answer other than you still having to call 911 would likely result either catastrophically for you or get you indicted.

After 3 days you reported it stolen…a delayed stolen property report. And you complain the police didn’t rush to investigate right? You can’t expect someone to have a sense of urgency while lacking one yourself.

Take your case number. Call your insurance. And stop pushing blame on everyone for a made up story.

All I got.

It's time for this lame post to dry up blow away! It was entertaining at first but now it is just pathetic nonsense with no merit or useful information on Raptors being stolen. It is the kind of a story a lawyer would try to use to win his case in court though!

In for the LOLs
Here’s 2 blk Raptor both reported stolen along with the other truck in question all 3 were ordered from MAK Haik Ford Houston. All 3 802a all 3 only 1 respective optios were different. All 3 are in Texas City/Dickinson all stol within 30 days of each other all for sale in those 2 little towns. 2 listed on Facebook marketplace. So just take it for what it’s worth. but Be careful
Houston. One of the larger F series dealers around and 3 trucks purchased from there are stolen. Missing from this is that the 2015+ F150 is one of the easiest new vehicles to break into ever made. You can literally pull the door handle out, twist the lock cylinder with pliers - I can almost do it with my bare hands, it’s that easy. Proficient thieves can do it in under 5 seconds.

So there are a lot of F150’s stolen. There are a lot of all marques stolen in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Waco, and cities outside Texas. Even suburbs outside these Texas cities. Because they are notoriously easy to steal, GPS is simple to disable.

Thieves take what is easy to take.

I hope he’s not a trail lawyer. The last thing we need is lawyers mucking our off road shenanigans. :)

Where does this really happen? Because I’d bet the vehicle theft rate is much lower there.

That’s more like it.

Theft is not a high, medium, or even low priority for LE. Unless the victim is politically connected enough to make an impact on the agency’s management, or the victim is in the same department.
