Stock Tires good enough for California Snow?

Mud grapplers or any mt tire only work well in deep compact able snow. Dusting they are sketchy due to lack of siping

The reason I ask is only because my Toyo M/T's were only good if there was enough snow to 'grab'. Super compact snow they were not the best.

I have the same toyos and thus my reasoning.

i am in the snow right now. they work just fine. just finished a little offroading around fernley and carson city.
