Wdym. Aired at 39 lbs. and only have 10k miles on them. That’s the 13 ford beadlock. 17x8.5 just like stock rim. You can believe it or not. Not gonna blow up this thread over a small difference.

Agree with you guys. 35x12.5 ends up at the same height yet slightly skinner width. IMO 37x13.5 would get the increased width if prefer but I’m not ready to make the mods to accommodate the increased width.

Looks like stock 315/70 nitto grapplers may be the best path forward to avoid adding more weight on each wheel.
The 35x12.5 are attractive for the additional tread depth but I’m not too excited about 75 lbs per tire.

Yes that’s the manufacturers listing but when actually measured on the truck I got around 33”. Not saying everyone will get that measurement but on my setup that’s what I got. Everyone’s will be different

I was just saying many manufacturers don’t measure the tire height when mounted and under load. There is no way in hell it should measure 34.4 on the truck. Unloaded yes you should measure that. AGAIN I gave you my height from my set up. BFG ko2 315/70r17 Load range E. Also this is the correct equation:

5280 / RPM x 12 / 3.14 = tire height

5280/604x12/3.14=33.40”

I gave you the correct formula in the above post, so your wrong.

A BFG 315 R70 17 tire's height is calculated like this:

315/25.4 x .70 x 2 + 17 = 34.36 or 34.4" diameter

You just calculated unloaded height. Why do you think they list the revs/mile as 604 and not 587? My formula is correct.

587 revs/mile


5280/587 x12/3.14=34.3”

604 revs/mile (BFG Spec)


5280/604x12/3.14=33.40”

Last thing anyone using an sct or bdx. They’ve actually updated the tire size with the revs/mile and they are pinpoint if it came to actually measuring the height on any tire.

Mine matches manufacturers specified advertised tire diameter, they sure in the hell aren't 33"

I've never read nor have heard of anyone call a 315 70 R17 tire a 33" tire .
