Has anyone adapted the stock Raptor side steps to Amp Side Step Motors?? I love the stock steps, but it would be great to have them drop lower for my wife (5 feet tall) and kids.

When installed on the Raptor, the AMP steps really disappear under the truck. I think you could probably fabricate the OEM steps to the AMP arms, but they wouldn't fold away correctly.

I put the AMP steps on mine....they fold down to exactly half the distance between the lower door seal and the ground. AMP does make a set with a rock shield, but they're pricey $$$$$$.

On a side note, I was able to sell the OEM steps for $175.00, they fit all F-150's from 2015-2021.

wont work without extensive modification. the way the amp steps pivot will be the issue in how to mount them to the oem steps. plus i have seen too many power steps fail that i will never put them on my truck. of course this depends on where you live and if you spend a decent amount of time offroad

I was thinking of these steps for some time.

Can you please elaborate on the off-road affect on these steps.

I have had the Ford power steps on a couple Super Duties and the Amp steps on one 2500 Duramax. Would not have them again. Just picked up a 2020 F250 yesterday and made sure we located one without the power steps, but still had the Lariat Ultimate package.
Pros:
Worked great in perfect weather with no mud.
Cons:
When used off road in weather, ie freezing temps or mud, they failed often. Mud cakes up around the arms and prevented them from consistently opening fully. When frozen, they hardly worked at all. I often see people driving around with one side or the other down due to it not retracting. Not sure if these are always the Amp brand or Ford.

I think if you are rarely off road in mud or in freezing rain/snow/sleet/sludge, you should be fine. One other huge benefit to the stock steps being out as opposed to folded in, is that they block some of the rocks and debris from hitting the doors/rear fenders due to the 35s sticking out. You could run mudflaps I guess, just not my thing.

I’ve had AMP on my 3 previous lifted F150s and now on my current ‘17 Raptor. I live in Chicago (unfortunately) so plenty of salt and freezing temps. They are all street queens however and only get hand washed, even in the winter.
I’ve never had any issues since my first set back around 2010. The motors were upgraded years back and I haven’t heard of many Klein gussied

Opening issues since the upgrade.

I did have the entire bottom quarter of my raptor clear bra’d to add protection once I removed the stock boards.

That's what my research shows is that the Amp steps work great even in very cold climates but it's only what I've read.
