A friend just got her wheels blasted and powder coated for $450. However the guy that did it is working out of his garage so his overhead cost is much less than having a big fancy shop. I've seen a bunch of stuff he's done on his Facebook page. He does excellent work.

i know it would depend on how who is doing it, but how much does powder coating run? Couple of hundreds of dollars?

I had mine done at the best shop in the region. The shop is a dump, but the guy does the best work. It was $75 a wheel if you took in just the wheel, $20 more per wheel if he had to dismount, remount, and balance. That was the cash price, I thought that was very fair.

I wish I had seen a similar post like this when I was looking for wheels. I hated the look of the 2019 OEM wheels, but really like how they look powder coated. One issue....not being able to use the truck during the powder coat process.

I do see a lot of OEM wheels on sale for next to nothing. Here is what the OEM wheels on the 19' look like stock for comparison. The other wheel, is the bead lock. I found a guy who had all five wheels for $1000.00.

I just put the truck up on jack stands for a few days. I took them in Monday and had them back Thursday.
