Is it the factory alarm or dealer installed? Mine has a dealer installed alarm and when armed there is a blue led light on the dash where your left knee would be. I need to adjust mine though cause I can thump on the truck pretty hard and not even get a warning beep

I had a local shop install the Omega AL-100DP Alarm/Kill Switch Combo that works with current autostart. I have been happy with it so far. It had a couple hiccups when I first had it (thing kept going off), but they figured out they wired it wrong and haven't had any issues with it. I think it ran me about 200-300... with tinting of the windows as well...

How much does that cost?

I can't remember, i think i was around $300...a little pricey. I thought i was getting a "FORD" alarm, just like when i got the factory alarm put into my BMW, it was a factory alarm that i added after i bought it. But the alarm i have on the Raptor is a dealer alarm, not from Ford. Oh well, it works.

I have the dealer installed alarm as well. Does yours go off if the truck is molested or just if the door is opened

The 2011 and 2012 Raptor comes with a Perimeter anti-theft alarm system. (don't know about the 2010 Raptor). Your window sticker has it listed under the safety and security heading.

The following is copied from my 2011 owners manual.

"The perimeter anti-theft system will warn you in the event of an
unauthorized entry to your vehicle.
If there is any potential perimeter anti-theft problem with your vehicle,
ensure ALL remote entry transmitters are taken to the authorized
dealer to aid in troubleshooting.

Arming the system.

When armed, this system will respond if unauthorized entry is
attempted. When unauthorized entry occurs, the system will flash the
park/turn lamps and will sound the horn.

The system is ready to arm whenever the key is removed from the
ignition. Either of the following actions will prearm the alarm system:

• Press the control on the remote entry transmitter.
• Open a door and press the power door lock control to lock all the
doors, and then close the door.
• Press and hold the 7 • 8 and 9 • 0 controls on the keyless entry pad
at the same time to lock the doors (driver’s door must be closed).

There is a 20 second countdown when any of the above actions occur
before the vehicle becomes armed.

Each door and the hood is armed individually, and if any are open, they
must be closed before the open entry point can enter the 20 second
countdown.

The turn signal lamps will flash once when all doors and the hood are
closed indicating the vehicle is locked and entering the 20 second
countdown.

You can disarm the system by any of the following actions:

• Unlock the doors by pressing the control on your remote entry
transmitter.
• Turn the ignition to the on position with a programmed coded ignition
key.
• Unlock the doors by using your keyless entry pad.
• If using a key in the driver’s door to unlock the vehicle, a chime will
sound when you open the door and you will have 12 seconds to
disarm the alarm system using any of the actions above, otherwise the
alarm will trigger."

Ok i need to adjust it then. I've thumped the b pillar pretty hard and gave a kick to the running board and it doesn't do anything. The blinking blue LED looks nice though
