Meh. If it sells it sells if doesn't it doesn't. I might get rid of the truck while I am at it lol. Doubt it though as I like it.. but if a Hellcat shows up in my yard in the next bit that changes things lol. I have a turbo LS I am going to focus on and finish. Not interested in this Ford stuff anymore honestly.

I meant sell the parts.

Personally, I'd take the offer of full store credit. But since you don't want to do that, can you tell us where are you located? Also, can you show us exactly which parts you have from the website, or at least provide part numbers?

I honestly believe there are guys here who would want them. However, I don't see how anybody could do a deal for $5k sight unseen.

As promised. All photos and info posted.

I did want to give some further insight into this. Honestly, we don't release specs for anything anymore because we spend a lot of time on the R+D side of things. By releasing our specs it does 2 things. #1 gives our competition their target point. By posting this it would have been gifted to them for free. They didn't spend the time developing any of these upgrades.

i totallly don't blame you on this. I know some guys here in town that do Honda race head/cam work and they are SUPER guarded about specs. They even limit the pictures that they publish of the ports. All it takes is one person with the specs and a manufacturing contact in China to copy your work and make all that time you spent on R&D a waste.

I don't think you are going to win with the OP. It sucks but its going to happen. I am not sure what his motivation really is though. Also the comparison to the LS engine world isn't the same. There are TONS of cams for LS engines so all of the MFRs need to give exact specs to make their cams stand out from the crowd.

However you guys are doing a very good job on responding and trying to be helpful, but still sticking to your guns when you need to.

If you read what I posted I talked a lot more about specs than just the camshaft. So keep the cam numbers... fine. What about clearances... hell how much are these milled and what cc are the chambers? That's my point. You send me parts with zero documentation of qa/qc and then charge a premium for them... you can keep them. It's no longer my concern. Being I have an engine shop ( small town head rebuilder) as a friend and sponsor and build a circle track teams engines. .. i get picky about what I buy. I have been burnt enough times with inferior parts that were supposedly "ready to install" from names a lot more prominent than this shop that I don't take it lightly anymore. Enough with this "ulterior motive" garbage.. this isn't a murder investigation. As I said... no longer my concern.

If it's no longer your concern, then why keep stirring the pot? Being you wanted these numbers and specs on everything so bad, why is it you didn't ask for this info prior to making a purchase? If the question would have been asked up front, you could have saved yourself $$$$ and not purchased them. You assumed they would provide this information so it's on you not Livernois. I think they have gone above and beyond to make you happy. You obviously will never be happy irregardless of the outcome.

I said it before. I reply only when talked too. Yes I should have asked for something I just have become accustomed to getting. I know... i am dealing with people that don't build their own engines anyway and wouldn't have a clue what any of it meant anyhow. I am happy now lol.

You need cam specs for an engine build. That's why so many people spend a ton of money and build a slow ass car. A different cam for a blower, Nitrous, NA. If the cams have to much overlap your gonna bleed boost. if the cams don't have enough overlap it won't scavenge in an NA build. Rpm range etc etc. I haven't heard of anyone really building a 6.2 and going for 1000+ kinda surprised really

I second that, but trying to stay neutral in all situations didn't say it. Prehaps divulging coveted info to someone after a down payment would satisfy both parties?

Guess this is somewhere in between someone wanting a cold air intake upgrade vs a complete engine overhaul. Lol I was fixing to buy a set tho, can't turn down a deal.
