Stereo Without Keys!

I had an aftermarket deck that did that before too but would turn off after a certain amount of time after you screw off and do something else, nothing that would kill the battery. Press the power button on our navigations and it does it too for a few seconds, just black screen with time i think it is, haven't done it in awhile.

I know Audi's do the same as the OP describes...however my 2011 Raptor does not. Seems that it is linked to the MFT system.

Mine does this as well. However, I thought it was a feature basically all cars have. I have had several different brand of cars that all did it (Infiniti, MB, Audi)

well i know in auxillary it shuts off MFT after 45min. to conserve battery. Not sure about it without a key. Might as well go check, seeing as i am the OP of this thread.

Just tried and with my phone charging in 12v, it shut off the stereo automatically after 25 min.

and yes 2013 with MFT.
