Working on the video. Didn't get much time yesterday to get the exhaust in. Got the x pipe in and had to head to work then to my sister in laws for the weekend. Hopefully finish up tomorrow. Just put up some random pics I took during the install

looks like i'm going back in boys...i had a chance to finish up the exhaust when i got home...turned her on and hooooooly shit, my quiet little neighborhood got a loud f'n wake up call...shoot the hell out of my house. i took her for a drive a few blocks, and that is just a beautiful sound...my wife hates it haha...but, reason i have to go back in is when i got home, i smelt gas...pretty strongly. i took a look under the hood and looks like some of the bolts were not as tight as i thought and backed out a little, but i'm not hearing any rattling or popping from the engine or getting any interior smell. could i just be running rich at moment?. i may hold off on messing with the stainless works header bolts and order some stage 8 (i believe it's STG-8914 10mm x 1.25) locking header bolts or use the stock bolts for at least the top row. bottoms looked pretty tight and didn't kick back....regardless, this gives me a chance to go back in and add the factory gaskets along with more rtv. and, forgot the dipstick...i tried after i got home, lifted the motor again, but it was a little bit of a pain in the ass.

question is, how long before i should worry about the suspected leak? i don't drive much, maybe 3-4 miles a day on average. just don't want to jack anything up with under 1000 miles on the truck...

Did you go with catless? I get a gas smell also out of the tail pipes but between the other modifications and catless headers I chalked it up as normal. I have a couple leaks at the slip connections and welds that I need to address. Primarily for the sound. Slow acceleration has a puffing sound that sounds like pure shit.
