I have some lights mounted behind the grill (M and R automotive - https://mandronline.com/products/20...light-kit-lighting-system?variant=44400389252 ). Does the Cobb intercooler use more space behind the grill?

I took some measurements on a truck with a Cobb intercooler on and found that there is approximately 2.15" between the back of the grill and the intercooler core below the Ford logo and 2.35" above the Ford logo. So you can take a look at how far back your lights go behind the grille and see if it will fit with them on.

Is the stage 2 map available to those who already have an aftermarket interoooler and AIRBOX mod? Or must you buy these items from COBB it order to have access to that map?

If you have the COBB Accessport, you should be able to download any of the OTS maps for free from COBB's website.

It does take up a lot of the space behind the grille. Use Huttomitch's measurements above to see if it will work.

If you have an Accessport, you have access to all of the off the shelf maps! There are no part purchases required.

I feel like the fat kid that no one wants on their team. When are we 2019 guys going to get included?

Sorry for the delay. We're looking to have support out before the summer.

Any word on CARB approval, estimated timeline for any of the stages?

from my understanding reason why whipple kit is carb approval or one of is you dont keep your stock tone and only load on a tune of what they give you. you cant put it on a dyno and adj a whipple tune

would need a new handheld aka cobb accessport to tune it. if i am correct then cobb will never be card approval but i could be all wrong

Anyone install the Cobb FMIC with a bumper that doesn’t support the ACC sensor?

Ok, so here’s an update. COBBs install instructions are decent until it gets to the part where you need to trim the grill. I’m sitting here with my truck ripped apart absolutely STUMPED on what to do next. Not good....

I’m stuck at “unplug the ambient air temp sensor from grill”.... let’s not even get in to the trimming instructions.

I don’t get it—seems clear to me. Do you not know what the ambient air temp sensor looks like? Did you look through the instructions and google anything you did not recognize or understand? Ambient temp sensor is what gives you the outside temp. It usually affixes using a “pine cone” plastic barb. Pop it off and proceed.

I was wondering the same thing. I have an ADD Pro Bolt on bumper sitting in my living room, with the ACC relocation kit that goes up in the grill..........and I was thinking about getting the Cobb FMIC and installing everything at once.

I know one of Cobbs test trucks(Ians I think?) has a frame cut bumper, but I don't know if he relocated the ACC module.
