After a cool 1000 miles on my 2018 ford raptor, I started to hear this awful squeaking sound (plastic on plastic) coming from the cupholder area, more so from the long piece between the cupholders and shifter. Has anyone else run into this problem? I'm hoping it's not just me..

when do you hear it? driving down the road? Got over 3,000 on mine, no issues. I assume you've lifted that rubber liner out? That whole console pulls apart pretty easily too. In fact I think some of the disassembly is covered in the owner's manual on the section about if the shift lock fails it tells you how to manually override it.

This happened to my super duty. It’s frustrating. I just bang on it a bit till it stops.

I thought my cupholder/ shifter area was rattling on my 2017 but I discovered it was really the center console lid. If I put weight on the lid (like rest my arm there) the rattle stops. If I lift my arm off, the rattle will appear again on bumps or uneven road. Its on my small list of things to get fixed under warranty when I get the chance.

Mine is doing the same. I figured out mine is missing the rubber snubber on the passenger side of the lid.
