Those DRLs look like the LED strips you can buy at Pep Boys, OReilly, etc. Plus they're white and don't match the "yellow" LED lights on the Raptor. Now if the LEDs were changed by Ford to be pure white then the DRLs would look better.

And if those DRL strips are in the space between the sheet metal and the bumper then I too would have crushed them when my skidplate got banged and tweaked my bumper a touch. But putting the DRLs in the bumper would not be a good idea since many have/will replace it with an aftermarket unit.

@Dan... colour of marker lights is determined by DOT/Highway code... in most states you can only have 4 front facing white lights on a vehicle (hence the need for covers on offroad lights).

Interesting list of potential changes to 2011.5 or 2012 models...

1. LED DRLs
2. Electronically Locking Front Differential (E-Locker)
3. Heated and Cooled Seats
4. "The 411-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-* is expected to remain the sole engine choice" - this is very disappointing news. An EcoBoost Raptor would be sweet and, together with the other aforementioned changes, could get me to jump into a new Raptor.

The new LEDs could appear on 2011.5 “Job 2” Raptors, but they are most likely slated for the 2012 model year.
Other future improvements rumored for Raptor may include an electronic locking front differential (in addition to the current rear locker) for increased capability in low-speed off-road maneuvers. A front e-locker is available for the limited edition Ford Racing Raptor XT pre-runner. There’s also chatter that the 2011 Ford F-Series Super Duty’s heated and cooled seats will find their way inside the Raptor’s cabin, too. The 411-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 is expected to remain the sole engine choice.

But what is certain is that exterior LED lights in pickup trucks are about to have their day. The GMC Sierra All-Terrain HD Concept featured edge-lit LED lighting in its cargo box that we expect to be offered in next-generation Ford and GM pickups. The Raptor happens to be first out the door.

Other then the E-locker and the Eco-boost everything else is a result of ********* who buy a Ford truck expecting it to have the same options as a BMW and complain to Ford about this. Next Ford is going add something completely useless and stupid like a power lift and lower tail gate that is worked by the key fob.
