I had the SPD turbo adaptors and catted down pipes and S&B cold air intake and I will say I noticed a difference right away. The truck didn’t have any lag which was awesome to me and ran better and I also feel it made the transmission run smoother and no jerk into gears abruptly. I’m pleased and highly recommended it.

Thanks! probably going to try the adapter and possibly downpipes. How much louder is the truck with the downpipes?

I installed the SPD flanges by themselves, then added S&B intake later. The SPDs along smooth out the low rpm throttle response and pulled harder from lower rpm, turbos definitely spooled faster producing less turbo lag. I was easily able to notice a difference by the seat of the pants. Once in stalled the S&B only notice a bit more throttle response. When I added Borla muffler back pipes it helped a little with smoother sound.
Did you notice any change in sound when you installed the SPD turbo adapters with the stock exhaust? That’s the route I’m going so I’m curious what the result will be.

That guy that said he can feel the difference probably sells them for a living believe me you’re not gonna tell any difference in it,if anything you’re going to lose bottom end,I’ve done it it’s a waste of money

I dunno man. The turbos seem to spool faster. I've been very happy with the turbo adapters and downpipes from SPD. I don't really drive much on the street, so when I'm driving my truck, the rpms are probably higher than most scenarios, so perhaps that's why I feel that way.

I’m thinking of throwing some turbo adapters and a Corsa resonator delete under there. Trying for subtle mods that won’t instantly raise flags against any warranty work...
