I have owned all kinds of vehicles in my life, many with very high mileage. I can count on NO fingers how many low mileage mufflers I have had blown out, or how many times I have heard of this happening.exactly why I created this poll... I think that suggestion is phooey
I got mine in a couple weeks ago, it sounds meh to me. Drone on the freeway and driving around the exhaust was "hollow" sounding and raspy. I feel like the stock muffler is definitely not meant to be ran solo. I added some 14" long magnaflow resonators between the trombone and the muffler, and it sounds great. Exhuast note is smooth, and the drone is mostly cleared up on the freeway. Very happy with it now.
Can't wait for sound clipsUpdate - muffler placed
This is a rare Supercab truck so the piping is pretty short. Transition into a short 4" diameter section and into the muffler.
