Yeah thankfully, of the lower plugs it's the one that's in plain sight behind the fender liner. But I'm bout sick to my stomach thinking I've just cost myself God know how much to save the 850$ I was quoted in labor at the local shop.
Just take your time and be careful. You'll be fine. :) Look at the bright side.... at least these trucks don't randomly spit out spark plugs like the 5.4L Lightnings did! That was always a good time. lol

Honestly, I had oil sitting on top of the drives side valve area, right near the front plug area but a little higher up. I think I have a valve cover gasket issue.

I was going to mention coating the tap and/or thread chaser with grease prior to running it in the spark plugs hole.
If any chips are cut, hopefully the grease hangs on to them instead of letting them into the cylinder.
