Treypal...what is the amber light you run on the back of your truck. I probably don't need it much out here, but I want one for when I go run the CORE track or any other dusty trails as the summer kicks in. You have it set up to be removable/collapsable, right?

It helped a ton when I was following you to the shop at the ranch in the dust plume.

Matt

It's a hella rectangular amber. Can't remember the model number. I cut a piece of 1.5"x1.5" angle 2" wide. Drilled a center whole for the light and three holes through the other side and into the front bedrail then riveted it in.

I had one that bolted into the bed extender nut made out of wood that plugged into the trailer harness. But I went for a permanent deal.

Thanks, dude.

I have the bakflip F1 that held up amazingly well on your TRR. So, I'll probably keep that on in most cases. I'll have to figure out a mounting method that's solid, but detachable without compromising the water tightness of the F1.

Thanks again.

It was a really light winter, everything should be melted/open by June. Probably find more snow left over from last winter.

Thats good to know about the snow. I ordered a new front track bar for the Jeep. Maybe I'll bring it up too.

Our dates look like June 22 - July 1. Most likely hitting the trails during the week. Its a bitch on the weekend in the Raptor with all of the traffic.

I am interested for sure! Just need to figure out some work details!

I did Cinnamon Pass in a suburban in late may, in fact, first day the trail was open...snow walls cut out for the trail were still several feet above my roof line towards the pass. It was awesome! Cant wait to do it in a raptor!

You guys are going to have a great time!!!! Have done those trails for 45 years counting when I was a little guy! Never in a Raptor but that is Gods Country! The best time to go is in the 2nd or 3rd week in September--river is down (we stayed between Creede and Lake City at Freemans at Clear Creek (my dad knew him from the 30's till the 80's) and the Aspens are turning! Wish I could go but will be waiting for pictures! Take some pics of the old silver mine and the cables that took the ore to it that are still there going dwn the mountian!

For those of you that can make this trip it is just the nuts!
