South East Raptor Groups-Off Road Newbie

Hello all! Long time reader and have been a sponge to all the great info on here, off road related and not. You guys have helped me more than you’ll ever know.

I’ve never been off reading per say, dirt roads here and there, but nothing too crazy. I’m in East TN, and I’ve been looking for people to go with, as its not good to go alone. Are there any groups that anyone is apart of, raptor or just off road in general in the South East, preferably TN area? Tips and tricks of the trade that might not already be on here somewhere?

I’ve been reading up on gear, tips and tricks, all that good stuff. Any other good resources out there? Books and such? I love to read and learn in any way I can, however I need to get out and actually do it and learn from those who have. Any and all help appreciated!

I'm in Nashville but been out your way 3 times in the past 3 weeks. Only got my Raptor 3 weeks ago! I'm willing to go anywhere. Will keep an eye on this thread.

Lol I have been to East Tennessee 3 times in three weeks as well. Blountville, Kingsport, Johnson City, and Bristol. Looks like some great trails there but I didn't know any of them. Would love to get up in those hills. Subbed to this thread for that reason.

Same here - also located in Nashville, just picked up my Raptor last weekend and looking for groups to wheel with.

Been looking at the TN Dirt Devil Trail. Down near Lieper's Fork. Don't want to ride that alone though.

I live in Birmingham AL moved here from Chattanooga and am looking to take my truck out and run it through its paces. I'd travel and would love to find a good group to ride with. Hope the truck has been treating you well!

I’ve been away from here for a little while and I wish I was back sooner! Glad to hear from some people. It would be fun to get a group together and get out and do something in the area
